Restorative Justice Week 2023

Posted on: 26th, October 2023

The third week of November each year is Restorative Justice Week, an international campaign that highlights Restorative Justice and the organisations that facilitate the process.

The theme for Restorative Justice Week 2023 is ‘Restoring Dialogue, Solidarity & Justice in Today's Societies’, highlighting the value of Restorative Justice in helping both individuals and communities find positive ways to move forward following crime. Restorative Justice provides the tools to start a respectful dialogue that fulfils the needs of victims of crime. It provides a mediated way to make connections and build solidarity within our society following crime.

Restorative Solutions deliver integrated, whole system services for victims of all crime types and anti-social behaviour.  At RJ West Yorkshire we organise a range of events throughout RJ Week to raise awareness and demonstrate how Restorative Justice can be effective in facilitating victims of crime and offenders to come into communication in a safe, mediated environment.

To celebrate RJ Week we are hosting a free event with fun activities for the whole family! Join us on Tuesday 21st November, from 5pm - 9pm at The Xclusive. Free food and refreshment, live music, a creators market and exciting activities will make this a great event for all ages.

If you would think Restorative Justice could be helpful for you, please get in touch.
